The Green Hydrogen Catapult is a coalition of ambitious green hydrogen frontrunners, convened with the support of the UN High-Level Climate Champions and RMI. It is focused on enabling GW-scale flagship projects and infrastructure development in three key sectors – green shipping; green steel and green ammonia.
In addition, we work to influence global policy development, mobilize new trade markets and unlock financing in emerging markets. Catapult members have committed to collectively taking final investment decision (FID) on 45 GW of new electrolyser capacity by 2027 and are currently taking 14 GWs of projects through front-end engineering and design (FEED) or FID, with another 55GWs undergoing pre-FEED feasibility studies.
