The Market Transformation Action Agenda is an ambitious initiative that brings together built environment stakeholders from all along the value chain to identify the key barriers preventing us from achieving a net zero built environment and build a comprehensive action agenda to overcome them.

It addresses the fragmentation characterizing the value chain by aligning existing efforts to reduce emissions and defining what it takes to operationalize the deep and radical collaboration needed to achieve our climate goals: to halve emissions by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050.

The Market Transformation action agenda focuses on three key Market Transformation Levers: life-cycle thinking, integrating carbon cost and transforming supply and demand. The action agenda supports the Buildings Breakthrough. They mutually reinforce each other, uniting stakeholders from the private and public sectors in implementing shared actions.
